Enjin and OpenSea serve different purposes and audiences. The majority of users have their own NFTs stored on OpenSea. However, the vast majority of these users do not use their NFTs as assets within games. OpenSea's large-scale NFT marketplace provides a large number of potential buyers for users looking to sell their collectible digital assets. However, it does not provide a marketplace for users to find other players who are interested in purchasing a specific item within a specific game. Furthermore, OpenSea does not allow users to store multiple versions of the same NFT, nor does it enable cross-game trade between NFTs. In contrast, Enjin is designed from the ground up to be a gaming-focused marketplace. It allows users to create their own digital collectibles and to store them in a way that makes sense for a game. Additionally, Enjin offers tools for game developers to manage their own virtual goods and digital collectibles, as well as a marketplace for users to buy and sell those items. Finally, Enjin supports trade between different games (a feature known as "cross-game asset portability").
